EASO has launched a new Practical Tools App for smartphones and tablets, providing practical support to those dealing with core asylum procedures on the ground.
The mobile app offers information on asylum procedures, including guidance and practical checklists.
It is currently available in English, Spanish, German, French and Greek, and incorporates the following:
- EASO Practical Guide: Personal interview;
- EASO Practical Guide: Evidence assessment;
- EASO Practical Guide: Qualification for international protection.
The app is the latest initiative in the implementation of Quality Matrix activities and in accordance with the overall EASO aim of supporting Member States in achieving common standards and high-quality processes within the Common European Asylum System (CEAS). The mobile app includes guidance, practical checklists and flowcharts on decision-making in a modernised and user-friendly way, enabling flexible and quick consultation throughout your daily work, e.g. during the interview with an applicant for international protection or when drafting a decision.
