EASO is organising the launch of the Annual Report 2017 on the Situation of Asylum in the EU+, which will take place in Brussels on 18th of June 2018.
The event aims to highlight EASO's main findings on the situation of asylum in the EU in 2017 including the latest data for 2018. Following the presentation and discussions on the main findings of the EASO Annual Report, a panel debate will take place which aims to explore and discuss one of the main challenges that Member States are facing nowadays, namely how to process asylum applications in a fair and efficient manner.
The EASO Annual Report provides readers with an overview of asylum related policies and practices, both at EU and at national level. In 2017, more than 728 000 applications for international protection were lodged in the EU+ countries. Want to learn more?
